New hospitality brand Outpost raises US$1.3 mil to grow remote work lifestyle in Asia

Outpost, an Asia-based hospitality brand focused on developing the remote work lifestyle, has announced successful seed funding of US$1.3 million. Investors in the round include EverHaus, Strypes Holdings and Clarenberg Ventures.
The round will fund expansion of Outpost’s destination coworking, coliving and travel services in APAC, including a fourth location to be announced soon.
Outpost Cofounder David Abraham says, “The digital nomad generation has grown up, and it’s affecting business at all levels. Employees and employers want a genuine alternative to the high intensity, 9-to-5 urban lifestyle. They want to engage with the diverse and exciting lifestyle Asia offers — the sights, sounds, tastes, creativity and energy — while also getting work done: whether that’s as part of a bigger organization or building a business from scratch.”
