As a remote worker and traveler, I’ve realized that you own your time—so making the most of it is key.

Q: Why are you here?

Verónica: I’m Veronica Cisneros, born in 1989. I’m originally from Colombia, but currently based in Australia while living a digital nomad lifestyle.

I’m a remote worker and entrepreneur, balancing my own business with a part-time job for an Australian company.

I chose Bali as my first destination because of its proximity to Australia, my second home. I wanted to experience a slower-paced environment, ideal for setting up my business while continuing remote work. Bali offers the perfect balance of productivity and lifestyle, making it a top destination for digital nomads.

Q: How do you balance work and social life in a coworking space?

Verónica: I start my day by going to the gym early in the morning to stay energized. Working at a coworking space helps me stay focused while also providing opportunities to connect with like-minded remote workers over lunch, after-work drinks, or networking events. I also make sure to schedule coffee breaks—a must for productivity!

Q: What’s the most unexpected lesson you’ve learned as a digital nomad?

Verónica: As a remote worker and traveler, I’ve realized that you own your time—so making the most of it is key. While the nomadic lifestyle can be distracting, having a clear routine and focus helps navigate daily life.

Q: Where do you see yourself in the next years as a digital nomad?

Verónica: I plan to grow my business while traveling and spending longer periods in select locations instead of constantly moving. My goal is to build strong connections within digital nomad communities, finding places that inspire and support my journey rather than just passing through.
