Enjoy this magical experience by creating your own silver necklace with metal clay, made from silver powder, organic binder, and water. The materials are imported directly from Japan, as this technique is becoming increasingly popular across Asia.

DAY 1 – 9:00/11:00

  1. Introduction to the metal clay process.
  2. Trial practice with plasticine and shapes, deciding on your final design.
  3. Creation of the first mold using chemicals after finalizing your shape.
  4. Opening the silver powder box and forming your original metal piece before it dries.

DAY 2 – 9:00/11:00

  1. Using a hand-held stove to heat the silver piece, removing organic binders.
  2. Letting the pure silver dry before laminating and cleaning off any remaining dust.
  3. Shaping and refining the piece with available tools for final touches.
  4. Attaching the chain and enjoying your unique handmade silver necklace!

The whole workshop includes:

  • Organic materials for shaping (plants, leaves, flowers, shells – you can bring your own!).
    All necessary tools: tweezers, knives, rulers, molds, toothpicks, plasticine, bases, etc.
    8-10 grams of pure silver (enough for a ~10mm round pendant) + a silver chain.
